2018 VW Up GTI Styling

The Up GTI sets itself up from a standard model thanks to a black beehive grille with red sporty striping – a combination that is destined for a sporty GTI model – and a large black bumper flanked by a pair of large floodlights.

Close the black mirror, 17-inch alloy wheels, black trim pieces on each side, a spoiler mounted on the roof and a thin red line in this upcoming boot-off styling sporty car. The car also sits 15mm lower than the standard model and will be available in the guise of two doors and five doors.

2018 VW Up GTI Interior

The inside will include a sporty black leather steering wheel, GTI gear knobs and iconic tartan trim seats, borrowed from GTI Golf. The Up GTI should feature a 3.1-inch touch screen infotainment system as standard while a larger 5.0-inch unit would be an additional option.

2018 VW Up GTI Engine and Driving

At the heart of the GTI Up is a turbocharged 115hp turbocharged gasoline engine. This powerful combination of engines and lightweight construction Up will help sprint from 0-62mph in less than 9 seconds and reach a top speed of 122mph. Rigid and low suspension should make it an explosion to drive on a winding road, as well as a series of active safety features will help keep you safe behind the wheel.

2018 VW Up GTI Price and Release Date

VW Up will go on sale in early 2018, when it will sell starting at £ 15,000 for a three-door model. The five-door version can set you back about £ 1,000 more. The Up GTI will be publicly announced in Austria at the end of May 2017.
